- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆It's 3am now, we were pulled over and my fiance taken In right before 2am. I just asked how much longer it would take to finish booking him so I could post his bond money and they tell me "Oh he's the only person back here so it shouldn't take long, but it all depends on what the booking officer feels like doing"...excuse me, but if you're officers of the law it's not what you 'Feel' like doing. I understand he forgot to pay a minor ticket and ended up getting a warrant for that...but I'm 4 months pregnant and supposed to be on bed rest because of complications with my pregnancy, and I'm being made to wait by myself all alone and in pain in your front lobby because you 'Feel like it' what ever happened to serve and protect. I used to think it actually ment something. The only people Lincoln county officers are serving and protecting are themselves. They barely even care about the people in their own community. It's sad, because I used to look up to police officers like they were hero's, now theyre just a bunch of self entitled bullies. Congrats guys what a way to be.By Samantha Hickman, January 11, 2017
